About Our 75x305cm Runner Rugs

Ruggable’s long runner rugs measure 75 centimeters by 305 centimeters feet, giving narrow spaces just enough floor coverage and protection against wear and tear, spills and even pet accidents. Here are some of the best use cases for longer runners:

  • Add dimension and a splash of colour to long hallways

  • Provide cushion and warmth underfoot in longer galley-style kitchens

  • Offer a soft landing at the foot or either side of a king-size bed

  • Define or accentuate a section of your living room

  • Elevate your utility room, laundry room or bathroom with double-sink vanities

How to Choose a Long Runner Rug

  • Pile and Texture: Our long runner rugs come in a variety of textures and piles. Chenille Rugs are low-pile, lightweight and feature a smooth texture. These rugs work best in high-traffic areas and low-clearance doors, like in the kitchen and entryways. Plush Rugs are medium pile rugs that feature a soft, teddy bear-like texture.  Both higher-pile rugs will look nice and feel comfortable in bedrooms, living rooms and hallways.

  • Colour and Style: Because kitchen and hallway floors are prone to muddy foot and paw prints, messes and spills, opt for long runners in darker shades of black, grey, dark blue or black and white.

  • Safety: All our long runner rugs come with a Rug Pad that’s specifically designed to cling to the floor and keep your rug securely in place.

How Long Should Your Runner Be?

For kitchens, hallways and entryways, opt for a runner rug that allows you to have at least 10 to 15 centimeters of visible flooring between the rug and the wall.

As for placement, if the hallway or kitchen galley is wide, position the runner rug against one of the walls, or along the sink side of the kitchen. If the space is narrow, position the runner in the centre.

Washable Long Runner Rugs to the Rescue

Since runners are usually placed in high-traffic areas, make sure you opt for runner rugs that are easy to clean. The good news? All our kitchen and hallway runner rugs are stain-resistant, water-resistant and machine-washable—even the extra-long ones! No matter what colour, pattern or style you’re looking for, we’ve got the perfect long runner rug for you!
