About Our Area Rugs, Accent Rugs and Runner Rugs
With Ruggable rugs, you never have to worry about ruining your decor because all of our rugs are water-resistant, stain-resistant and machine-washable. Theyβre the perfect choice for your home, especially if you have kids or pets.
Our Rug System comes in two pieces: a lightweight, removable Rug Cover that's machine-washable and a non-slip Rug Pad to keep your Cover securely in place. When you receive your Ruggable rug, you'll first place the Pad where you want your new rug, then youβll place the Cover on top. When your rug needs to be cleaned, simply remove the Cover and place it in the washing machine.
Ruggable washable rugs come in seven texture options, including Flatwoven, Tufted, Plush, Shag, Re-Jute, and Outdoor. Our signature Flatwoven Rugs are lightweight and low-pile. Our Plush Rugs offer a longer pile for ultimate softness while still maintaining washability. Our Outdoor Rugs are made of a woven, weatherproof material that makes them more durable for outdoor spaces. No matter which texture you choose, we have the perfect rug to suit your taste and needs for any space in your home.
When shopping for a rug for your home, youβll want to take into consideration several factors, including the size of the rug to best suit your space, the colour that will go with your decor, the style and pattern that complement your aesthetic and the room youβll be placing the rug.
When selecting a rug, itβs important to know what size you need for your space in order to look its best.
For larger living rooms, an 245x305 rug works well if you have at least three feet of space around the rug for a comfortable border. A 185x275 rug or 150x215 rug are good options if you have a smaller living space. A 185x275 rug will sit under a sofa, coffee table and adjacent seating, while a 150x215 rug will be just big enough to sit under a sofa and coffee table.
When choosing a rug for the dining room, youβll want a dining room rug thatβs large enough to sit under your dining table with about 75 centimeters of space around the edges to accommodate the chairs. Youβll also want to consider the shape of your table to determine if a round rug or rectangular rug is best.
For bedrooms, the size of rug you choose will depend on the size of bed you have. Bedroom rugs look best when they sit under the bed and leave enough border around the furniture to walk on. King beds work well with a 275x365 rug, while queen and full beds are better suited for either an 245x305 rug or 185x275 rug. If your room has a twin bed, you can either choose a larger size rug to leave plenty of space around the bed, or place a 3x5 rug on both sides of the bed.
In the kitchen, if you have a smaller space, 90x150 kitchen rugs and 150x215 kitchen rugs work best. Larger sized rugs, including 185x275 kitchen rugs, 245x305 kitchen rugs or runner rugs, work best in large kitchens, whether theyβre galley-style or more open. For under the kitchen table, try a round kitchen rug to create a separate dining area.
The colour of rug you choose for your room can have a big impact on the overall feel of the space.
Grey and silver rugs are a versatile and popular choice, blending seamlessly into the background and allowing others colours in the room to pop.
Blue and green rugs usually draw inspiration from the colours of nature. From teal and turquoise to navy and emerald, our blue and green rugs add a timeless, calming, and elegant vibe to any space.
White rugs and cream rugs not only flatter the whole spectrum of colours but can also make a space look roomier. Pair these rugs with an all-white decor for an effortlessly chic look, or make them a neutral centrepiece to pull eclectic elements together.
Natural and neutral-coloured rugs, featuring warm, earthy tones, natural weaves and textures, and muted patterns, are always a timeless option. These subtle-toned rugs fit perfectly with any style and add an understated elegance to your space.
Rugs make a powerful design statement in your home, so choosing a style that reflects your tastes and complements your other decor is crucial. Thankfully we have many rug styles to choose from, so youβll easily find one that catches your eye.

Kitchen rugs and runners are a great way to add some colour and style to the often overlooked space. Since kitchens typically have neutral colour palettes, you can choose a kitchen rug in any colour or pattern that suits your decor. Kitchen rugs also help reduce fatigue in areas you spend a lot of time standing, offering protection for your floors.
For the bedroom, try choosing a rug that evokes feelings of calmness to create a relaxing oasis. Green rugs, blue rugs, lavender rugs and neutral rugs are all soothing tones that work well in the bedroom.
Since the dining room is a gathering place where friends and family come together, youβll want a rug that feels special. When choosing a colour, anything goes in the dining room, but keep in mind what other rooms are visible from the dining area and select a rug that will complement the rest of your decor.
The living room is the space most people spend a majority of their time, so choose a living room rug that feels welcoming and comfortable. Itβs also one of the largest rugs in your home, making it important to select a living room rug that goes well with the rest of your decor.
Entryway rugs are one of the first things a person sees when they enter your home, so whatever you choose will be sure to make a statement. Itβs also a high-traffic area, so picking an entryway rug that has a pattern or darker colour palette wonβt show the dirt as easily. But even if you do opt for a light-coloured rug in the entry, itβs easily washable, so you donβt have to worry about stains.
Donβt forget your outdoor space. Whether youβve got a small patio or a large porch, adding a fun outdoor rug to the space will give an often overlooked area a touch of style.
